I was at a cross roads like Bryan. How does God who can see everything and everyone sit and watch horrific tragic events unfold around the world when He has the absolute power to intervene, stop or prevent it all together? It's especially hard seeing it happen to Believers who love and are faithful to Him and pray for decades with prayer chains and still get bad results What kind of a father who has young kids sees a vicious dangerous animal running free and stalking them to harm or kill them with the ability to stop it and does nothing? Or if they were crying and pleading for help for a terminal illness and had the power to do something about it and does nothing? What's helped me is understanding that while we're on this earth, we as humans will go through life's surprises just as everyone else does, no difference. Some of it can be our own poor choices and stuff that's out of our control because of other people's poor choices (i. e. a drunk driver running a red light and killing people) I dont pray to change circumstances anymore but to help strengthen me to cope through circumstances. I love listening to Denny sing. Saw him live at a Maranatha Chapel in San Diego; just him and a piano. His passion and energy sitting from a piano bench was awe-inspiring.

I thank God i heard his albums and even got to see him live once. His albums still make me cry with gratitude for the unique way he pointed to Jesus. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. Bryan...your music has saved my life. Be of great cheer bub, you have no idea how much me and my sister who both have mental disorders, have found hope and peace ion your music. Faith is kinda like strong only when we hear your strollion on the water. We were a Country Gospel Evangilistic family that lived in a bus most of our lives. I get it really. I lost my Mom this yuear too. She was our pillar. There are seven of us kids and we took it hard. We lost Dad at 58 years old which we just didnt understand. We are praying for your wife. I am very thankful for Brother Mills ministry. He was speaking and singing in a Revival Meeting at Mt Zion Church in Keyser, WV in 2014. My now husband was in attendance and walked the aisle to receive Jesus as his Savior. The Holy Spirit used Bro. Mills to touch Don Carner's heart and bring him to the Lord. Three years later, Don and I made contact again after 50 years and now we are loving the Lord and each other together in Alabama as husband and wife. Our prayers are for Sister Mills complete healing.

I'm 61. I literally cried, sobbed, listening again to Larry's albums recently. As a teenager, I'd listened to Larry's albums hundreds of times. Anointed, indeed!

Thank you for producing and posting this. I needed to hear these stories. I had been discouraged with Larry when I saw clips of people saying bad things about him. He and Keith Green were very influential in my "infant" Christian years. ( the early Nineties)

I hear you Bryan. How can we expect not to suffer in life when God didn't even spare his own son!!✝️ If we didnt suffer through the hard times , how can we expect to appreciate the good times. Life is about faith, not fear!! If Jesus didnt rise from the dead, then we are among men most miserable!!✝️👍😇🙏❤️♾️🎵!! Faith , hope , and love, but the greatest is love!! And God is that Love!!❤❤❤❤❤

Ran across this listening to "We All Need", which is one of my favorites of all songs. Very good testimony and encouragement.

I had some similar struggles to Bryan recently. My only child suddenly passed away when he turned 4, then I got sick and couldn't get out of bed for months from Lyme disease that came back after moving into a moldy house...my narcissistic father made fun of me and said I wasn't really that sick, and that I was insane, while he laughed at my son's funeral yet claims to be a Christian...he turned all my siblings against me and I have no friends left. I know God allowed this for many good reasons and like Bryan said it brings us closer to Him. That is the only positive I see on this difficult path.

There was an LP of his that I checked out of the library over and over again -back in the 1980's. It was a record he did with Rosemary Clooney and it was all travel songs. It was sublime. Phil Jr's voice has the Crosby family richness!

Grew up on Bryans music, even got to meet him once in Indiana way back in the day, I truly believe that his music is what got me into singing and now have been leading worship for over 30 years in two different churches.
